Day 2 update + reader poll
Like every writing project, P(h)easants has metastasized slightly, and thus is taking longer to update than I'd planned.
Dev notes of the day:
- Fleshed out a main "quest" for the module
- Filled in one of three primary areas of interest
- Worked on one of the planned illustrations until suddenly my drafting table turned into the Family Witcher Episode Watching Zone(tm) which basically cut off my train of thought for the day
- Just realized I'm up to ten distinct NPCs, whoops...
My goal with this module is for it to be clear even to very inexperienced GMs how to proceed through it without stalling out . For example, a common issue is ganky dialogue where the players don't know there's another thing for them to do because it's not clear to them an NPC is deliberately hiding something. Conveying appropriate use of direct exposition versus requiring players to dig a little to get useful information out of what they see is also turning out to be tougher to write than do in person - For a module where the main plotline is based around some social drama, setting this goal was.............. probably a mistake, haha!
Expect a final publication date by 4/6/2020
